A Message from the Chief
The Santa Clara Police Department is part of a team effort from City government to make Santa Clara a pleasant and safe place to live. I am proud to say that our police department is committed to a problem-solving approach to policing that addresses quality of life issues in our community. To me, this means having an open and continuing dialogue with you. With outreach programs such as our Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, DARE, Volunteers, and the Citizens' Police Academy, we involve our citizens in how policing is done in Santa Clara.
The officers of the Santa Clara Police Department stand ready to serve the Mission City to keep our families and businesses safe and successful.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Santa Clara Police Department is to always provide quality police service to the public. Working together, and in partnership with the community, we will identify and resolve problems utilizing all available resources. We will perform this service professionally and with integrity.
