Space Gateway Support Security Police are responsible for the security of our nations spaceport, the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. We currently have aprox. 400 officers and aprox. 66 supervisors of which all are NASA Federal Officers. We also have a K-9 division, Marine division, an ERT Team, Security Plans division, Resource Protection division and a Hostage/Crisis Negotiations Team.
