It is my honor to serve as Chief of Police in the City of Franklin, a vibrant and diverse community with a rich
history and an exciting future. Our organization takes pride in providing the highest quality police services
to our citizens and businesses.
Through collaborative problem solving with the community and aggressive pursuit of law violators, the Franklin Police Department
endeavors to keep our community safe and secure. A community oriented policing philosophy serves as a guiding principle for the
department. Our department's values emphasize the importance of being leaders in the community and building relationships based on
trust. This approach encourages citizen involvement, and allows our team to provide quality services that anticipate
and respond to the changing needs of the community. Our tradition of community policing means that we listen to what
you have to say. We respond to complaints and seek out long-term solutions to neighborhood problems and challenges.
Our staff, both sworn and non-sworn, are well trained, well equipped and committed to serving our great community.
The men and women of the Franklin Police Department are committed to serving you, our customer. Whether you are visiting,
work or reside in Franklin, you should know that we stand ready to serve. Of course, we cannot do it alone.
We need your help in reporting suspicious activity and crime, becoming and remaining involved in your neighborhoods,
and sharing information with us to preserve order and safety.
On behalf of the staff of Franklin Police Department, thank you for working with us to make the City of Franklin
a great place to live, work, learn and play. We welcome your suggestions and comments regarding our services,
and we are committed to continuous improvement in our service. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit
our facility, or contact me or any other member of my administrative staff at 706-675-6624.
