The Peosta Police Department is a relatively new Police Department. The Department was organized in 1999 to serve the citizens of the City of Peosta as the community grew in size. In 1990 the population of the City was 135, the last census conducted in 2000 - the population grew to 651. We currently are working on conducting a special census - collecting that data in February 2006. Peosta is the fastest growing City in the State of Iowa according to the Des Moines Register. As the City grows, so will the Police Department. To serve & protect the citizens of our City.
