We are a small town Marshals Department divided by two parts, 75% of the town in Decatur County, and 25% located in Shelby County. We currently have positions for a total of five officers, with three vacant at this time. At any given time we have one car on patrol, including our newest addition of one unmarked unit. We utilize most of our summers patrolling traffic in the two campgrounds located in our town.The majority of our routine traffic stops revert to high volume drug and alcohol arrest. Our primary goal is for all officers, and surrounding departments to arrive at home safely daily.
