Welcome to the Onaga Police Department's Website. Onaga is a small city, but it is a flourishing community. Onaga has a rich history, seated in the edge of the Kansas Flint Hills, with some of the most beautiful scenery in the Midwest.

The citizens of Onaga were originally protected by the town's Marshal. In 1877 when the city was founded, the Marshal of Onaga and his deputies maintained law and order. Today, Onaga has a small, but professional police department that patrols, investigates crimes, enforces traffic laws and serves the Onaga Municipal Court.

Over the last 3 years together we have worked diligently to make the community safer by having a zero drug tolerance, working hard to deter crime and solving many criminal cases. The Onaga Police Department has entered into a contractual agreement with the City of Havensville to provide law enforcement protection. Currently, we are working with the City of Havensville to create a municipal court. We appreciate the support that our community has given us and we are proud to serve the great people of Onaga and Havensville.
