Oxford is a bed room community with great community spirit, down-to-earth values, and a great place to raise a family. Located approximately 35 miles South of Wichita, between Wellington and Winfield on US 160.
At the Oxford Police Department our mission is to improve the quality of life and property, maintaining order, and reducing crime through education, awareness and prevention. To us, providing Police services is a lot more than just writing a ticket or taking a report; it means working with the community to prevent crime and solve community problems. The cooperative working relationship between police officers and the people we serve is improving everyday.
