We are a small agency, made up of 5 officers and looking to eventually grow. We are in the metro area of Louisville, so we do see a variety of criminal activity. Fortunately, we have a very low crime rate in our city, though we are in a area that has a much higher crime rate. This is proof that good patrol is effective in crime prevention. We believe in Community Oriented Policing, we believe that Preventing a Crime is better than solving a crime.
We believe in a strive to hold the "Law Enforcement Code of Ethics" very close to us. In holding to this we maintain a higher level of professionalism, we raise the confidence level of the community in our agency.
MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF
Our latest enforcement efforts are in curfew violations, Nuisance Ordinance Violations and parking on the streets. We have received numerous complaints involving each of these issues and are needing to get these problems addressed.
Graffiti has become a real problem and we are addressing this by stepping up on policing our juveniles in this city.. anyone caught violating city ordinances will face stiff fines or be doing community service and cleaning up our city.
