The Marshal's Office executes all writs and mandates issued by the Lafayette City Court. We also execute all Warrants of Arrest issued by the court. All Deputies are commissioned by the U.S. Marshal's Joint Task Force 9 which tracks fugitives in the Western District of Louisiana and assist any and all Law Enforcement Agencies when called upon.
