 Holyoke Community College is one of 15 state community colleges within the Massachusetts public higher education system. The campus is comprised of nine buildings and sits on almost 200 acres of land.
The Holyoke Community College Police Department serves a total enrollment of 5,754 students and approximately 379 faculty and staff.
The Police Department is staffed by 10 full-time commissioned police officers and one security guard. Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year conducting both foot and vehicular patrols of the campus.
The Mission of the Holyoke Community College Police Department is to provide the highest level of safety, security and service to all members of our community.
To achieve this mission, each officer is a graduate of the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Academy or the Massachusetts State Police Training Academy. Campus Police Officers have complete authority to apprehend and arrest anyone involved in illegal acts on campus.
