The Punta Gorda Police Department is seeking any information regarding a past home invasion
robbery. Please contact this agency if you have investigated any home invasion robberies
with the following physical description and m/o. W/M approximately 6'01, thin build, late 40's
or early 50's. Subject carried a large caliber blue steel revolver. Subject
parked his vehicle at a nearby shopping center and walked to the victim's residence.
Subject entered the residence through an open garage door. Approached the victim and,
pointed the firearm at them, pulled the trigger back on the firearm and demanded cash only.
The subject insisted on cash only and returned the victim's wallet and credit cards.
