The Village of Corrales is a small semi-rural community of 10,000 people that is surrounded by 600,000 people. We border the NW corner of Albquerque and SE corner of Rio Rancho, NM. We have a history that dates back to the 1700's. The Corrales Police Department has a National reputation as a leader in the Philosophy of Community Policing and received several awards for those efforts. We have been recognized as the Safest Community in New Mexico.
