The Clayton Police Department is a 24 hour law enforcement agency. The department is staffed with 7 sworn officers, five detention officers, five communications operators, an animal control officer and a records clerk. All members of the department work very close with our schools, public and private agencies and the district attorney's office to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere for its residents.
