Chief R. A. Zinn started at the Perry County Sheriff's Office in 1976 under then Sheriff Tom Wilson. Chief Zinn joined the Crooksville Police Department in 1978 and was promoted to Chief of Police in December of 1979.
Sergeant Rodney Walters joined the Crooksville Police Department in July of 1985 and has continued with the Department to the present.
Corporal Joey Carr joined the Crooksville Police Auxiliary in 2001 and was hired fulltime in December of 2002. Carr was promoted to Corporal in 2006. Joey has many community-based projects in the works to improve the quality of law enforcement in the Village. In 2007 Corporal Joey Carr was promoted to Asst. Chief for the Village of Crooksville.
Patrolman Nicholas Sabo joined the Crooksville police Department in October of 2005. Coming from Clinton Township, a suburb of Columbus, Officer Sabo brings a wealth of larger city law enforcement knowledge to the table.
Patrolman Duane Chevalier is a life long resident of Crooksville. Duane joined the Auxiliary in 2005 and was hired part time in 2006.
Marks Gets Community Service

Sergeant Jerry Marks of the Crooksville Police Auxiliary was recently named as the Village's Community Service Director. Officer Marks will supervise individuals convicted and sentenced to community service from the Village, County, and Common Pleas Courts
