The goals of the Shawnee Police Department are to serve the citizens of the Village of Shawnee, in a timely and professional manner. Residents are encouraged to stop in and discuss any concerns that they may have.

New officers are being hired on, and the residents of the Village of Shawnee will be seeing a drastic change in the way the village is being policed.

Copies of reports may be picked up at the station. Please call ahead and be sure to leave a message and your report number. This will help us serve you better, and your wait for a copy will be minimal. The office number is 740-394-2462, fax 740-394-2460.

The village of Shawnee now offers a vehicle lock out service to all of our residents and visitors at no charge.

You may also contact any of the officers to schedule a home security survey.

The police department will also will look in on your home while you are on vacation, or if you need to leave for an extended period of time. To set this up please stop in at the station and pick up the "House Watch" form. It will be returned to you with the dates and times your residence was checked by officers.
