The City of Waverly is located in northern Pike County Ohio, with a population of 5,000 plus residents. Waverly is the only city in the county as well as the largest community which serves as the county seat. The villages of Piketon and Beaver follow Waverly as the leading communties in Pike County. Waverly Police force has several officers both full and part-time time as well as a strong vol. force. Waverly Police has a 24-hour 911 service and a dispatch with-in itself but also has a close relationship with the Pike County Sheriffs Office.
