Pennsylvania State Constable
East Rochester, Beaver County

News

The East Rochester Constable's Office in Beaver County, Pennsylvania has taken delivery of its first TASER. This "Less Lethal" crime fighting tool utilizes Neuromuscular Incapacitation (NMI) by causing involuntary stimulation to both sensory and motor nerves. This device is used all across the country and is an aid in reducing the probability of injury to both the officer and suspect in cases of non-compliance. Our office is the first Constable's Office in Beaver County to certify its Constable in the use of TASERS, and as of September 14, 2007 also as a TASER INSTRUCTOR. There are still some police departments in the County that have not taken advantage of this technology.

Below are links to this equipment being used. The first is a training scenario, while the second is an actual deployment.
