 Scranton is located in Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania. One of the fastest growing communities in Pennsylvania, The city of Scranton provides full-time safety services which include Police, Fire and Rescue.
Formed in 1856, the Police Department has grown from its original staff of six-teen officers to a one hundred and fifty-nine member, full service, accredited agency.
