 Our Civil Division is made up of a Deputy Sheriff Clerk and several Deputy Sheriffs. Our primary function as writ servers is to see to it that legal documents presented to us, either by the courts or pro-se plaintiffs and attorneys are served upon the recipients of said documents in a professional and timely manner. Types of writs served are Restraining Orders originating from Family, District and Superior Court, Small Claims Notice, Execution, Citation, Divorce, Motions etc. Serving Providence and Kent counties from our central office now located in Cranston, RI. Newport and Washington counties are soon to join us in this centralization. Check this site periodically for more updates.

SERVICE FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Rhode Island Court Documents $45.00 (per defendant; per document)
Out-of-State Court Documents $100.00 (per defendant; per document)
Body Attachments $100.00
Eviction Deposit $2,000.00
Service Fee $15.00 (service unable to be executed)
Fees Waived by the Court (must produce a writ of Forma Pauperis)
