DFW International Airport's Department of Public Safety was established over 30 years ago by a
handful of firefighters and police officers. The group came together with a vision for a Public Safety
force that would protect the 18,000 acre prairie that is, today, the second largest and
third busiest airport in the world.
As DFW Airport continues to grow with a new international terminal and a SkyLink people mover system,
the department is also in a state of growth. The Department of Public Safety is currently accepting applications for
experienced police candidates.
