The Utah Department of Insurance, Fraud Division, investigates all types of insurance fraud ranging from staged vehicle accidents and false injury claims to prescription drug and health care fraud. We have a staff of 8 law enforcement officers assigned to the unit whose jurisdiction is statewide. Our staff is here to investigate fraud as well as act as a information resource to other law enforcement agencies.
