The PD is located halfway up Raven Drive on the left. Visitors are welcome and the department runs 24-hour operations. The Chief can be contacted in daytime hours Mon-Fri. If he is not in, please leave a message, as he has an open-door policy for personnel and the public. The department can be reached at (907) 945-3655.

Hoonah's police department also maintains a local city jail for detention, protective holds and less-serious or short-term offense convictions.

Hoonah City Hall: The City Hall is located on the waterfront, across from the Presbyterian Church and City Business can be conducted there. The Magistrate's Court is also located in the City Hall building.
