MISSION STATEMENT
The University of South Alabama Police Department's mission is to, in partnership with the university community, strive to provide a safe crime-free environment to learn, live, work, and play.
OBJECTIVES
1. Educate the community on crime prevention methods and techniques and encourage them to accept appropriate responsibility for their safety and security.
2. Provide purpose-driven services to all segments of the community while aggressively striving to maximize safety and minimize security risk factors.
3. Encourage and provide professional development opportunities for the Police Department.
4. Enforce state and federal statutes, rules and regulations to ensure the safety of our community members.
5. Achieve this mission in the most efficient manner possible.
