The Fairplay Police Department serves a diverse community of approximately 1,200 citizens. The Town of Fairplay is located 23 miles from the World Famous Breckenridge Ski Resort on Colorado Highway 9 and 90 miles southwest of Denver on US Highway 285. The Fairplay Police Department is "Dedicated to Community" and strives to further its commitment to its citizens and visitors to the area.
