The Hennepin Police Department is a part-time police department with four officers. The Putnam County Sheriff's Dept. handles calls within the village limits when we are not available. I am the Police Chief and I have lived in Hennepin all my life. Hennepin is a very quiet town with approx. 900 people. If you get a chance, look us up. We'd be more than happy to have you.
