The Palmhurst Police Department will be accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Applications will be accepted from Tuesday April 28, 2009 thru Friday May 8, 2009.

The minimum requirements are:

* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED
* Must be currently licensed / certified by T.C.L.E.O.S.E.
* Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of uninterrupted patrol experience.
* Health pre-screen to include vision no worse than 20/200 binocular and corrected 20/20. Applicants will submit to a drug / alcohol screening.
* Good character as established by a background investigation.
* Acceptable physical condition in order to meet certain physical standards as determined by the Palmhurst Police Department.

Salary starting: $32,000.00
