Jurisdiction: The White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation is located in east-central Arizona and
consists of more than 1.67 million acres (over 2,600 square miles.) The counties of Gila, Navajo, and Apache
make up the reservation. Comparatively, it is about the size of the state of Delaware.
There are 15,929 total WMAT enrolled members living on the Ft. Apache Indian reservation within 15
communities across four districts covering 1.6 million acres or 2,627.608 sq mi in northeastern Arizona.
