Jurisdiction: Campus Police Authority and Jurisdiction
Public Safety Officers have complete police authority to apprehend and arrest anyone involved in
illegal acts on and immediately adjacent to the Dalton State College Campus. If minor offenses involving colleg
policies or rules and regulations are committed by a student, the Public Safety Officer may also refer the
individual to the Vice President for Student Affairs. Major offenses are reported to the local
police and joint investigations are conducted.
