The Harrison County Sheriff's Department operates to insure a safe and orderly community through the
implementation of a comprehensive program of law enforcement and crime prevention.
Toward this end, our department will provide open, conspicuous and aggressive patrol; arrest and
bring criminal offenders to justice; maintain an orderly, safe and expeditious flow of traffic;
and provide the service aspect of law enforcement activity in a prompt and courteous manner.
As a law enforcement agency, in partnership with our community, we must protect the lives, rights
and peace of mind that are entitled to each citizen.
