The Teaneck Police Department has ninety-four (94) sworn police officers serving a diverse population of approximately 40,000 residents. Major institutions in Teaneck include, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Holy Name Hospital, and the Glenpoint Business complex. Teaneck is located just outside of New York City. The Teaneck Police Department is one of the founding partners of the New Jersey Regional Community Policing Institute.
