The Clayton Police Department is a 24 hour law enforcement agency. The department is staffed with 4 sworn officers, five communication operators, an animal control officer and a office manager/ records clerk. All members of the department work very close with our schools, public and private agencies and the district attorney's office to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere for its residents.
