The La Grande Police Department strives to provide a level of professional service to
the community that enables them to report their concerns with confidence. Our service will be delivered
with respect and compassion with a dedication to resolve the conflict, reduce crime, and promote
public safety.
Specifically, the La Grande Police Department provides or participates in the following programs and activities:

D.A.R.E. (Drug Awareness Recognition Education) Officer to teach in La Grande area schools
