The Walnutport Police Department consists of three full time officers and eight part time officers. The department makes full use of speed enforcement devices including VASCAR, ESP and Robic while patroling the boroughs 18 miles of roadway. The Walnutport Police Department also has two bicycle officers and conducts "Officer Phil" and crime prevention and drug resistence programs at the local schools. The department is also part of the Northampton County Drug Task Force.
