The Dallas County Hospital District Police Department provides law enforcement and security personnel to Parkland Hospital, as well as several community based clinics. In addition to the Administration, Field Services and Investigations Divisions, the DCHD Police Department also has an Emergency Response Team (ERT), Bike Patrol Team, and Color Guards. They also have an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program for qualified officers. The officers are also trained in using Satori Alternative techniques to Manage Agression (SAMA).
