TEXTLCRA Public Safety provides law enforcement for the 16,000 acres of recreational lands owned and operated by LCRA -
protecting the safety of recreational users, the environment, LCRA employees and LCRA property.
The LCRA Rangers make up LCRA's primary law enforcement division, providing emergency and rescue services, marine safety
enforcement and environmental enforcement. LCRA also maintains a staff of more than 30 security officers to protect LCRA
facilities and employees, as well as provide on-site emergency response.
