The University of Arkansas Fort Smith Police Department is located within the 51st Annex building on North 51st
Street just south of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry building and the Baldor technical Center.
Currently the department employs eight full time Police Officers and two part time officers which has the same police
authority given to every police officer in the State of Arkansas, the department also employs one Security Officer,
One full time Dispatcher and one part time Dispatcher.
The Officers patrol the campus in many ways with two Chevrolet Impalas and one Dodge Charger, two golf carts and 4 bicycles,
along with foot patrol keeps our officers very visible and deters crime.
