The Grayson County Constable is an elected peace officer who serves a four year term.
The constable has the same powers and authority as the sheriff, as well as the ability to
act anywhere inside the county. The Constable is a fee based office, where most income
to the office is a result of rendering services such as serving warrants, subpoenas,
eviction notices or any other writ of the court.
Colonel Damon Lasley was elected to the office in 2014 and took office in January, 2015. He is a veteran law
enforcement officer, with years of experience as a supervisor as well.
