The Duquesne Police Department is a fairly new department being established in 1995.
The Department is a relatively small department with a Chief, Sergeant, three patrol officers and numerous
reserve officers.
The Department handles all their own criminal investigations.
The Duquesne Police Department provides 24 hour, 7 day a week law enforcement coverage for it's citizens.
We are affiliated with several other police municipalities such as, the Duenweg Police Dept., the Joplin
PD, the Jasper County Sheriffs Office as well as the Newton County Sheriffs Office.
We as a police department handle approximately 1700 citizens, along with heavy out of town traffic.
The city of Duquesne has several main routes of travel running through it's jurisdiction.
