Greetings, and thank you for taking the time to view some information about Caney City
where we enjoy the best views of Cedar Creek Lake in the area! We like to think that our
little city is a refuge, and a peaceful place for families to visit, camp, fish and get
away from it all.
Here at the Caney City Police Department, we strive to keep the SERVANT
in Public Servant, and it is our great pleasure to serve our citizens and visitors.
My emphasis as Chief, has been to step up residential patrols, to provide that preventative
police presence to discourage criminal activity near our homes. While we are not yet a 24
hour department, we work very closely with surrounding police departments and the henderson
County Sheriff's Office to provide immediate answers to calls for police service.
I have an open door policy and welcome comments, suggestions and even criticisms
which might make our community a safer, more secure place to live, work, and play.
Please feel free to stop by any time and visit our peninsula city where we enjoy
the country life from shore to shore to shore.
