The Village of Lake Hallie implemented a canine unit in 2015. The canine lives with an officer who serves as
his handler. This allows them to train and work together. The cost to care for a canine unit can be expensive
and that is why the Village of Lake Hallie Police Department is establishing a fund to help with these costs.
